How to get there
The Cabin lies 650meters above sea level and is marked with a red circle on the above map.
It is situated between the Folgefonna and Hardangervidda National Parks, and about half way between the towns of Odda and Røldal.
The closest Airports are either Bergen (3hrs drive) , Stavanger (3 1/2 hrs) or Haugesund (2hrs).
If coming from Haugesund or Bergen, the carpark is about 10 minutes drive from the junction between the E134 and the road to Odda (RV13).
From the junction between the E134 and road no 13 to Odda, follow the E134 up the long hill for 4.5 km.
It's easy to miss the turnoff on the left to the carpark which is up a gravelled road from the main E134.

From the top carpark it takes about 8 minutes to walk to the cabin along a gravelled path. Start by going up the steep ramp in the corner.
At the first junction, keep right and follow Bedringens vei through the trees and past cabins number 11, 15 and 17.
After about 6 or 7 minutes walk you will see a large brown cabin (no 29) in front of you, take the path to the right of this cabin.
On your right you will see our red cabin no 27.
Entrance is on the opposite side to the path.
Note that in winter things might look a bit different.
