The Cabin
The cabin is in the Seljestad village in Ullensvang municipality in Norway, at an elevation of 650 metres (2,000 ft) above sea level. The village is connected by theEuropean route E134 highway, and lies about 25 kilometres (16 mi) south of the town of Odda. Seljestad has about 30 permanent residents, but the area has a lot of vacation cabins.
The cabin sleeps 6 people. A double bed in the main bedroom...
...and two set of bunkbeds in the other two bedrooms.
The lounge has a dining area with an open fire..
...and a large corner sofa.
The traditional kitchen is fitted with a cooker, hob, fridge/freezer and microwave.
The bathroom comprises a vanity unit, shower and composting toilet.
There is a path from the carpark up to the cabin which takes about 8 minutes to walk to.
In winter ther can be alot of snow at this altitude. The snow normally arrives in October/November and can last until early May.
